Lord, thank you for those small moments, like this Saturday afternoon, when all is calm, the baby is sleeping and the world seems peaceful. These moments seem few and far between as time quickly passes. I remember being young and so wanting to be an adult and do what I wanted when I wanted. Hah! Little did I know then that as an adult the time is still not your own, as responsibilities creep in and steal the precious time we felt would be all our own. But life is good and God is in control, so at this sweet moment, I'm going to enjoy a very good day. A day were I don't have to go to my job, I just got to see old friends who now live far away, and I got to see my toddler eat his bodyweight in food at Perkins! :) Boy, that kid can eat. I knew having a boy, he'd probably eat me out of house and home. But he was a little gentleman and was very good during brunch. Now he's napping before we head to a BBQ at friends' house. And now I hope to get a little bit of scrapbooking done before he wakes up. Yes, a good day!

(Yes, Evan is making a face in every picture...he's trying to get down and run around! Typical Toddler.)
